K&N replacement air filters have always been the name in high performance reusable air filters for just about every vehicle. Replacing my power robbing stock paper filter is always the first to do on any vehicle. For my SS750 this is the first step towards better performance. You may need to adjust your fuel mixture screws when adding a K&N replacement filter to stop any popping on deceleration. If you have already jetting your bike, a K&N in combination with removing the stock air box snorkel can cause a significant power increase. Going a step further, a rejet combined with the K&N and the Bean Box mod you can gain maximum performance from the stock air box. Because K&N filters are washable and reusable with a K&N cleaning kit, you will never have to worry about a clogged air filter again. This filter is a must for the stock airbox for performance and financial savings by not having to buy replacement paper air filters regularly. An added note is that K&N air filters come with every Thunder MFG air kit I have ever used.
